Barbershop Bay Rum is the soap that stops people mid-shower to ask what that incredible scent is. Handcrafted in small batches at our Fairburn, Georgia workshop using the cold process method, every bar opens with a sharp hit of West Indian bay leaf and clove — the unmistakable signature of the traditional American barbershop. The heart settles into warm cinnamon bark, a whisper of allspice, and the rich sweetness of dark rum. The dry-down? Pure smooth vanilla and soft cedarwood that linger on your skin long after you’ve toweled off.

We formulate every Pleasant Run Farms bar with a deeply nourishing base of saponified shea butter and cocoa butter — ingredients that cleanse without stripping your skin’s natural moisture barrier. Unlike commercial bars that remove glycerin to sell back to you in a lotion, our cold process method keeps that natural glycerin right where it belongs: in your bar, working on your skin.

At 5.5 oz, this is a generous, dense bar that holds up in the shower stream and lasts 4 to 6 weeks with daily use. Store it on a draining dish between uses and you’ll get every ounce of value from it.
